Garrard: "We are exporting our economic advantage"
Nigel Garrard, Managing Director of Orora, interviewed on Sky News' Switzer segment yesterday, says Australia is exporting its economic advantage.
"Cost is up 60 70% from where we were three years ago...Australia is the second or third largest producer of natural gas in the world and we are exporting our economic advantage."
He explains the price manufacturers pay for gas in the US is less than half what they pay in Australia.
"I'd like to see a flexible market so gas is available in every market... where it is needed."
